Flawn Professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He also served as a Visiting Professor at Tufts University and a Lead Scientist at Aware, Inc. in Massachusetts. His research spans computational vision, machine learning, AI, multimedia security, remote sensing, and biomedical imaging. Dr. Agaian has received funding from NSF, DARPA, Google, and other agencies. He has published over 850 articles, ten books, and 19 book chapters and holds 56 patents/disclosures, many of which have been licensed. He has mentored 45 PhD students and received multiple awards for research and teaching, including the MAEStro Educator of the Year, the Distinguished Research Award, the Innovator of the Year, the Tech Flash Titans-Top Researcher Award, and recognition as an Influential Member of the School of Engineering at Tufts University. He is an Associate Editor for several journals, including the Image Processing Transaction (IEEE) and IEEE Transaction of Cybernetics. Dr. Xiao-Hua Yu received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California, Irvine. Currently, she is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Dr. Yu has served on the organization and program committees of various international conferences, as well as the editorial board of several international journals. Dr. Yu’s research interests include computational intelligence and machine learning, digital signal processing, and adaptive control.

Firas AL MAHMOUD is full professor. He holds a Ph.D. in strengthening reinforced concrete structures from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA), Toulouse, France. Accreditation to supervise research (HDR) (2016). Prof. Firas AL MAHMOUD currently works at Lorraine University in France as a structural engineering educator. He teaches at several engineering schools. He was the Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Lorraine University from the 2017 – 2020 academic year. Furthermore, He also develops innovative strengthening techniques utilizing fiber-reinforced polymers and cementitious-based mortar. He supervised many Master's and PhD students. He is the author of dozens of research papers and the organizer of some international conferences.

Professor Dr. Luisa Maria Arvide Cambra, Spanish is now Professor with Chair at the University of Almería (Spain) and she was Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Granada from 1979 on. Forty four years of the teaching and researching experience. She is the Director of Research Group HUM113-Estudios Filológicos from Program of Research of Andalusian Government, where she has managed and directed several academic and scientific contracts and research projects, as well as a Member of European Scientific Institute (ESI) Team, Athens Institute for Education & Research (ATINER) in Greece, She is reviewer and member of the editorial board in several renowned scientific journals as well as member of the organizing, scientific & academic committees at prestigious international conferences. Dr. Zuohao Cao is a research scientist working at Environment and Climate Change Canada. He is recognized internationally and nationally for his contributions and achievements in developing novel approaches to analyze complex cyclone-cyclone interactions, and identifying reasons for the operational model missed forecast and false alarm of severe precipitation. He has transferred his research to the scientific and operational communities, helping meteorologists successfully deliver timely public snowstorm warnings. He has discovered the east-shifting of the tornado activity centers in a warming climate and disseminated this finding to the public through invited interviews by Scientific American, Insider and WAAY-TV in Huntsville.

Dariusz Jacek Jakóbczak was born in Koszalin, Poland, on December 30, 1965. He graduated in mathematics (numerical methods and programming) from the University of Gdansk, Poland in 1990. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2007 in computer science from the Polish – Japanese Institute of Information Technology, Warsaw, Poland. From 1991 to 1994 he was a civilian programmer in the High Military School in Koszalin. He was a teacher of mathematics and computer science in the Private Economic School in Koszalin from 1995 to 1999. Since March 1998 he has worked in the Department of Electronics and Computer Science, Koszalin University of Technology, Poland and since October 2007 he has been an Assistant Professor in the Chair of Computer Science and Management in this department. His research interests connect mathematics with computer science and include computer vision, artificial intelligence, shape representation, curve interpolation, contour reconstruction

Karl is Co-founder and Deputy Director of One Earth, and formerly the Director of Media, Science & Technology at the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation. One Earth supports academic institutions and NGOs working on the cutting edge of climate and energy science, biodiversity mapping, and sustainable food systems. Through grantmaking and development capacity, the program is particularly focused on scaling innovative applications in big data, remote sensing, and artificial intelligence to accelerate land and ocean conservation efforts. Karl has published and lectured internationally on the topics of renewable energy transition, ecosystem restoration, and regenerative agriculture. With a background in engineering and architecture, receiving a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University Oregon focusing on building-integrated energy systems, Karl supported early research on 100% renewable energy transition models and was a contributing author to the landmark paper “A roadmap for repowering California for all purposes with wind, water, and sunlight” (Jacobson et al. 2014). Karl has also published extensively on nature-based solutions and was co-author of “A Global Deal for Nature: Guiding Principles, Milestones, and Targets”, a groundbreaking paper published in Science Advances in 2019 that sets out the evidence base for the 30x30 global conservation target (protecting 30% of the world's lands and oceans by 2030), was later adopted as a central target of the UN Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

Paul KIEKENS (°1955) was a Full Professor at Ghent University, Belgium. He was Head of the Department of Textiles at Ghent University from 1988 till the end of 2016. In January 2017 he became Head of the Department of Materials, Textiles and Chemical Engineering (MaTCh) with nearly 300 people one of the largest academic departments in the world. He is a graduate (Master in Chemistry) from Ghent University (Ghent, Belgium) and holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry (1982) and one in Materials (Textile) Technology (1987). He was Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Ghent University (2002-2004). He was the executive coordinator of AUTEX (Association of Universities for Textiles) from 1994 till 2020 and the former president of ENMat (European Network of Materials Research Centres). Since 2021 he is Professor Emeritus of Ghent University. Over the years, Prof. Kiekens has been involved in a large number of national and particularly European projects about education and research. He has written about 350 international papers and several books. This has resulted in an h-index of 25 (year 2020).

I obtained his BSc and MSC degrees from the University of Baghdad in 1968 and 1972 respectively. I got my PhD degree from Dundee University in Water Resources Engineering in 1976. Now I am senior Professor at the department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering at Lulea Technical University Sweden. Previously I worked at Baghdad University 1976-1995 then at Al-Bayt University in Jordan (1995- 2007). Research interests are mainly in Water Resources and Environment. Served several academic administrative posts (Dean, Head of Department). Publications include more than 900 articles in international/national journals, chapters in books and 22 books. I executed more than 60 major research projects in Iraq, Jordan, Sweden, and UK. Awarded several scientific and educational awards, among them is the British Council on its 70th Anniversary awarded him top 5 scientists in Cultural Relations. One patent on Physical methods for the separation of iron oxides. Supervised more than 70 postgraduate students at universities in Iraq, Jordan, UK, Sweden, and Australia. Member of several scientific societies e.g., International Association of Hydrological Sciences, Chartered Institution of Water and Environment Management, IAHR etc. Member of the editorial board of 42 international journals.

Gloria Kwong is the Head of the Decommissioning and Environmental Remediation Section at the IAEA. In this role, she assists IAEA's Member States to develop best practices and strategic decommissioning planning to achieve safe and efficient decommissioning of all nuclear facilities. As a nuclear professional, she advocates for applying the circular economy (CE) principles wherever possible to prioritize resource efficiency, waste reduction, sustainable decommissioning and waste management practices. · She is a chemical engineer by training and a registered professional engineer in Canada. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Toronto and her Ph.D. in Material Engineering from the Imperial College in London, United Kingdom.

Prof. Zhongsheng Guo, Ph.D., Professor, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, China. He put forward the theory of limit of utilization of plant resources, the theory of vegetation carrying capacity, the theory of critical period of regulation of plant resource relations and the new theory of soil and water conservation. Albin Kälin is a pioneering Swiss entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of epeaswitzerland GmbH. He was Managing Director of Rohner Textil AG from 1981 to 2004, leading the company to win 19 international design awards and launching Climatex® in 1993, the world’s first Cradle to Cradle® products. Kälin’s leadership earned him numerous accolades, including the 2001 UBS Key Trophy as "Rhine Valley Entrepreneur of the Year." He served as CEO of EPEA Internationale Umweltforschung GmbH (2005-2009) and its Netherlands branch. Kälin has received over 40 prestigious awards, including multiple "Best CEO of the Year" honors, for his groundbreaking work in sustainable manufacturing and Cradle to Cradle innovation in the textile industry.

Mr. Eugene Eteris has M.Sc.in comparative European politics (1980), PhD in Law (1985) and Lic. Jura (Denmark, 1992); besides, he has a M.Sc. degree in foreign languages. Doctor of Sciences (Engineering), Professor, Academician Mikayel G. Melkumyan (born on June 10, 1951) started his scientific and practical activity in 1973, immediately after graduation from the Civil Engineering Department of Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, carrying out both design and experimental-theoretical research works to study the behavior of various reinforced concrete structures under seismic actions. In 1983 he led the Department of Earthquake Resistant Construction at the Armenian Scientific-Research Institute of Construction and Architecture. After the Spitak earthquake of December 7, 1988 in Armenia, he carried out the deep analysis of consequences of this and other earthquakes and reasons for extensive destructions of various buildings and structures. His research at the Institute of Industrial Science the University of Tokyo resulted in the “Melkumyan Hysteresis Model”, enhancing the understanding of shear behavior in structures. During a short period of time in 1995-1996, devoting him to the challenge of increasing the earthquake resistance of existing buildings, he developed two unique methods of protecting existing buildings from earthquakes through base isolation, as well as by isolated upper floor and upper slab (roof isolation) without interruption of the use of the buildings. His patented technologies have been extensively implemented in seismic isolation designs for various buildings. During several years starting from 2003 he was developing and implementing a new original approach in applying clusters of small size rubber bearings in isolation systems of seismic isolated buildings. These works are unprecedented in the world practice of earthquake resistant construction of the time. He is the president of the Armenian Association for Earthquake Engineering, CEO of the “Melkumyan Seismic Technologies” LLC, and has served on various international committees and editorial boards. His scientific and engineering works are widely recognized among scientists and engineers of many countries. Of the designed by him seismic isolated buildings, the total number of already constructed and retrofitted buildings has reached to 60, making the number of seismically isolated buildings per capita in Armenia one of the highest in the world (second after Japan). The number of already manufactured in Armenia and tested under his leadership seismic isolators exceeds 5500. He authored and co-authored 260 scientific works, including 21 books (6 monographs). His books were published in Armenia, Russia, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, UK, India, and USA. 175 of his scientific works have been published in international journals and proceedings of the World, European, and International Conferences in 36 countries. He has designed 107 earthquake resistant residential, civil, and industrial buildings for construction or retrofitting in different regions of Armenia and of Nagorno Karabakh, Russia, Romania, Peru, Kazakhstan and Turkey. His efforts have significantly advanced seismic engineering, positioning Armenia among the world leaders in this vital field.

Helton Bezerra, electrical technical degree and began his career as an Electrical Engineer in Industrial Engineering University of Sao Paulo - FEI. Postgraduate degree in International Business Management in Curitiba, FAE, Brazil. Started the work experience in telecommunications and then, approximately 27 years ago, changed to electrical engineering applications, in the automation field later adding almost 20 years for Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen in Brazil. In this last opportunity, acting as Sales Manager dedicated to the Central and South American market to promote the complete MR portfolio. In May 2023, moved to MR Germany with a focus on MR's solution to hydrogen production plants, taking part from sales and technical discussions to implement our developed new solutions on MW and GW hydrogen plants already. Ricardo A. Valls is a professional geologist with over 44 years of experience in the mining industry. He holds a P.Geo. designation and is registered in Ontario, Canada. Valls obtained his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Mining-Engineer degrees from MGRI in Russia between 1979 and 1983. Throughout his career, Valls has held various leadership positions, including CEO, President, VP Exploration, and Chief Geologist for multiple mining companies. He has worked on projects across the globe, including Canada, Colombia, Armenia, Burkina Faso, Venezuela, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Honduras, El Salvador, Argentina, Haiti, Ghana, and Russia.

Eng. Marzia Ciampittiello works since 2001 at Italian National Council of Research, Water research Institute in Verbania, on Lake Maggiore (North-Wester Italy).The areas of her research concern the hydrology, hydro-morphological aspects of lakes and rivers, climate change and its effects on hydro-morphology and consequently on the quality of aquatic ecosystems and the water resources. She started to deal with climate change within the EUROLIMPACS project in 2005, delving into the aspect of long time series analyses. Subsequently she developed analysis and statistical models for the evaluation of climate change in the Alpine area and its consequences on aquatic ecosystems and natural hazards. Since 2007, she has been the Italian national contact person for the implementation of the Water Framework Directive 2000/60 for the evaluation of the hydro-morphological quality of lakes. In this context she took part in the CEN working group - TC 230/WG 2/TG 5 Water quality for Developing standard method for assessing lake hydromorphology (first standard, 2008-2010) and for Guidance standard on determining the degree of modification of lake hydromorphology (second standard, 2010-2014). Since 2008 to today she has been responsible for various research projects relating to hydromorphological aspects, climate change and water resources, also providing support to regional, provincial and municipal bodies in relation to her research areas through hydrological analysis, analysis of the impact of climate change on the fluctuation of lake levels, assessments of the impacts of the use of water resources on aquatic ecosystems. From October 2022 she is part of a CIS working group (CIS Water Scarcity and Droughts) as an Italian representative. To address the management of water resources taking into account climate change, the quality of aquatic ecosystems and the interrelationships between them, she is deepening the use of system dynamics. In September 2004 she received the award for best researcher in the environmental field.

Prof., Dr. of Sc. Kartlos Joseph Kachiashvili is Professor of Georgian Technical University, Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems. Dr. Estibaliz Sanz Gogeaskoetxea is a Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in local and regional climate crisis policies. She holds a PhD from the International University of Catalonia (UIC) and the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3), a degree in Law, and a diploma in Urban Planning. Over the past 25 years, she has advised numerous local and regional governments in developing climate and urban policies from both public and private sector perspectives, with a particular emphasis on environmental, social, and urban sustainability. Currently, Dr. Sanz works at the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) and collaborates with various organizations, including the United Nations, where she supports and coordinates multiple regional, national, and European projects focused on advancing local and regional climate action strategies. Her work places special emphasis on governance frameworks, institutional capacity building, and enhancing quality of life for citizens. Additionally, Dr. Sanz actively contributes to numerous publications and events centered on climate change and sustainable urban development, sharing her expertise and promoting knowledge exchange within these fields. She is also the author of the ClimaGob self-assessment tool, a resource designed to assist local and regional governments in analyzing governance factors that drive successful, effective, and sustainable climate action.

Joseph Victor S. Generato, PhD is the Director II of the Management Information Systems Service and Data Protection Officer at the Maritime Industry Authority of the Republic of the Philippines. He holds a PhD in Educational Management from De La Salle Araneta University, a Master in Education from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Saint La Salle. Dr. Generato has been instrumental in advancing digitalization within the Philippine maritime sector, notably leading the development of a Blockchain-Enabled Automated Certification System and the School Enterprise Resource Planning System at De La Salle Araneta University. As Program Head for the Maritime Industry Development Plan 2028, he focuses on sustainable maritime innovation and digital transformation strategies. Hamidreza Samouei, PhD, is a chemist with expertise spanning various domains of industrial and applied chemistry. With a comprehensive background in organic, inorganic, organometallic, and analytical chemistry, he possesses a robust skill set in synthesizing, refining, and characterizing compounds that exhibit sensitivity to air and moisture. His current research area is carbon mineralization and water treatment, extraction of valuable minerals from diverse sources, including different types of brines (including oil and gas and geothermally produced water), clays, and algae. His research scope further encompasses acid stimulation, scale dissolution, corrosion inhibition, and kinetic and thermodynamic studies within energy-related systems using real-time spectroscopy.

Ismail Abdallah is a PhD candidate at the University of Macerata in Quantitative Methods for Policy Evaluation concentrating in Energy and Sustainable Development. My research interests include environmental and public health, public policy, energy, and sustainability in Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Previously, I was a research intern at Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in Qatar. I have co-authored the article (The EU's natural gas Cold War and diversification challenges), and I authored the article (A Pan-Asian Energy Transition? The New Rationale for Decarbonization Policies in the World’s Largest Energy Exporting Countries: A Case Study of Qatar and Other GCC Countries) published in the Energy Strategy Reviews and Energies Journals respectively.

Nabila Irshad is a passionate environmental scientist and advocate for youth engagement in climate action. With over a decade of experience in sustainability initiatives and community leadership, she currently heads the Sustainability Through Outreach Program (STOP) at Planet Priority. Nabila’s work centers on empowering young people to take active roles in environmental advocacy, bridging the gap between local communities and global climate goals. Drawing from her extensive background in environmental science and community engagement, she inspires and mobilizes youth to become agents of change, equipping them with the tools to advocate effectively for a sustainable future.

Mitin Sandrine Yaah is an award-winning environmental engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing innovative solutions to environmental challenges. Growing up in Cameroon, Sandrine experienced firsthand the impact of environmental challenges such as water scarcity, improper waste management, limited energy access and climate shocks on her community. These experiences shaped her commitment to finding innovative solutions to pressing environmental issues and led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, graduating as the top student in her class. Currently serving as the Biodiversity and Livelihood officer with Eco-Path Consultancy, Sandrine has for half a decade spearheaded transformational initiatives that addresses environmental challenges especially in sub-Saharan Africa. In 2021, she founded the university of Bamenda’s first environmental club, coordinating local policy campaigns, tree planting exercises and workshops, engaging over 6500 students. As the focal person for the Local Conference of Youths [ LCOY] Cameroon 2024, she has worked with over 1000 youths across all ten regions of the country towards meaningful climate action, developing the Cameroon National Youth Statement on Climate Change 2024. As the program manager for Green Space Academy, Sandrine has led initiatives like; the youth climate accelerator and the grassroot youth action programs, engaging over 16,000 grassroot youths as of 2022 to bridge the gap between environmental knowledge and action. Sandrine’s passion extends to promoting gender equality in STEM with the Association of Women into Sciences, where she has for over four years planned and coordinated over 25 practical workshops on; biogas production from organic waste, treatment of wastewater, urban gardening, designing of flood detectors, engaging 1340 young girls and children in 5 regions of Cameroon, inspiring the next generation of environmental scientists and engineers. Combining her academic knowledge and field experiences, she has spoken at conferences, seminars and webinars, including; National Youth and Women-Led Dialogue on the challenges and opportunities for climate change adaptation in Cameroon 2024, keynote speaker at Cameroon open dialogue with indigenous communities 2024, Responsible Environmental Activism with RADA, Youth Forum on Adaptation Finance in Africa 2023, Dreams to Reality Transformational Leadership Fellowship 2023, Activespaces, and many more. Sandrine’s work has fostered a culture of environmental consciousness, strengthen community resilience and inspired youth led solution to local challenges

Abdes-Samed Bernoussi, Professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques, FST, Tangier, University Abdelmalek Essaadi, Morocco. He obtained his PhD on applied mathematics, systems theory, in 1993 and his Habilitation in 2001, from the University of Perpignan France. He is the Director of the interdisciplinary laboratory CBM-VR (Chemical Engineering, Biochemical, Modeling and Valorization of Resources), University Abdelmalek Essaadi. He was the head of department of mathematics , FST Tangier (2005-2008) His research activities, for more than twenty five years, is focused on different approaches for modeling, analysis and control of dynamical systems; as well as on applications in the environmental areas and particularly on water resources and the climate change impact on such resources. He has published several papers in specialized scientific journals and has participated in numerous international conferences. He is co-author of 4 scientific books and particularly one scientific book on vulnerability of spatio-temporal systems with application

Nicole Florence NGO NGWE is a PhD candidate in Plant Biotechnology. She is affiliated with the Laboratory of Biology and Physiology of Plant Organisms at the University of Douala, Cameroon. Her dissertation is entitled: “Valorization of the fermentable fraction from the organic waste of the city of Douala and its surroundings”. Her studies on the valorization of waste biomass highlight, from an interdisciplinary perspective, the intersection between biology, ecology, microbiology, environmental biotechnology and agriculture. Nicole Florence NGO NGWE has recently a scientific article entitled: “From Sanitation to Clean Energy: Biogas Potential of Three Organic Wastes Collected in and Around Douala City (Cameroon)”https://doi.org/10.12911/22998993/189298. Dr. Karthikeyan N. is currently working as a Load and Control Engineer and Consultant at the Vestas R&D Center in Chennai. Before joining Vestas, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Engineering College, Kovilpatti, affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. He earned his Doctorate in October 2020 from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy), with a dissertation on “Performance Augmentation Study of Small Wind Turbine Rotor at Low Reynolds Number Applications.” He completed his Post Graduation and Under Graduation degrees at Anna University, Chennai, in 2013 and 2011, respectively. Dr. Karthikeyan has over 24 months of teaching experience in academia. He has published articles in high-impact international peer-reviewed journals and edited book chapters on small wind turbine rotor systems. His research interests include small wind turbine rotors, airfoil aerodynamics, horizontal axis wind turbines, and wind energy resource assessment. He has published articles in “Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews” and reviews numerous research articles. He teaches Engineering Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Wind Energy to undergraduate students. Additionally, he serves as an editor for the book titled “Recent Advancement of IoT Devices in Pollution Control and Health Applications” with Elsevier Publisher.
